Parker was playing in the den and he came out with all of Les' sports hats on at the same time. It's a good look for you buddy!
That makes two lost teeth for Parker - both of the bottom front. No more wiggly ones right now, so it might be a while before number three comes out. He lost this one at KinderCare and he got a little tooth holding pendant and a certificate.
My super handy husband installed a new faucet on our kitchen sink. It is lovely, functional and best of all doesn't drip.
After being away right after she got her bangs, they still surprise me every time I see them.

As I was returning from my retreat, Les was off to Las Vegas with Job for his own "retreat." Cigars and poker is the standard them for the boys only Vegas Retreat.
Sunday is always the saddest day, because it's time to say good-bye. We all head our separate ways and promise to stay in touch. Thankfully the Internet makes that so much easier.
Playtime out on the beach. The weather was so nice, we could help but romp around and take pictures of each other. One of the benefits of being with people passionate about photography and memory keeping is that no body thinks it's weird to be constantly taking pictures and suggesting "try this . . . now do this . . . Art time in Manzanita - This was the hardest part of the retreat for me, painting and creating art intimidates me. But I managed to create a small 4x4 canvas that I a quite proud of it.
Once again it was time to head down to the coast for my my Your Story Retreat. It was about half the same people from last year and half new people. However we bonded quickly to form a really amazing group of women. (It may have been the game of Cards Against Humanity we played, I have never laughed so hard!)
As I was brushing Kaitlyn's hair this morning, I noticed there was a good sized chunk missing from the front. As I got the story out of her, it seems he and another girl at school cut each others hair. I made an attempt to cut some bangs, but thankfully Grandma came to the rescue and trimmed them nice and even. They look cute but I am a little sad because she doesn't look like my baby any more.
I am sure that I have mentioned this before, but I love that Les takes pictures of the white board in his office before he erases them. I may not know what all the stuff on it means, but since I can't actually get him to take pictures of people, it's a nice snapshot of his day at work.
After suffering a crack at the hands of the children many months ago, my Kindle finally stopped working. By that I mean every time you hit the "next page" button, it would jump back two pages. So I replaced it with a Kindle Touch. It's smaller and holds more books, so it is exactly what I wanted.
After dinner, we all walked down the street to get ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Parker got bubble gum (with real pieces of gum) and Kaitlyn picked out a mixed berry sherbet (mostly because it was pink and purple.
We met Grayson and family at Hammerle Park for a picnic lunch and time in the splash zone. The best toy of the splash park - plastic drinking cups. Who knew?
After dinner at the little cafe, Carrie and I took the kids over to Midhill Park so that Parker could work on his batting skills. Kaitlyn just worked on her silly skills.
Today was Parker's Kindergarten Graduation. His teacher said that the thing she'll remember most about Parker is how good he is at math (he can do simple multiplication!). After the celebration at his school, Les and I treated him to ice cream at Baskin Robbins and the he and I went to Midhill Park for a little photo shoot.

Our new reward system for Parker is that if he's been good he can earn 3-5 Pokemon cards. It's been pretty effective because he is really loving Pokemon cards - they have battles in the afternoons at daycare.
Kaitlyn's preschool class is studying wild animals this week and she made a cheetah habitat and made a clay cheetah to go in it. She still needs a little work on her letters, but she's getting it.
The kids are in bed, my husband bought me a Dairy Queen Blizzard (Reese's Peanut Butter Cup) and I get some quiet time on the computer . . . sounds like the perfect Sunday evening to me.
Went down to the Little Parker to run some energy off in the morning. Parker has really mastered the monkey bars this year; I am impressed that he is both strong enough and coordinated enough to do them.
Miss Carrie came over to hang out with us (our usual Friday night) and the kids thought we should make brownies. Thankfully, she was happy to oblige. One of the days the kids will realize that bedtime always happens before the brownies are done.
Les had to travel to Lousiville this week for work. He snapped this picture out on the town after dinner.
Other and Lucy like to hang out in the den while I am working on the computer. It's especially nice to have the company on days that I am playing hooky from work.
Parker's class gave a Spring Musical performance at his school. Along with the music teacher they sang songs, played on the marimbas and played a couple of singing games too. Aunt Susie was even able to come and bring Grandpa too.

Parker's final t-ball game of the season and he caught a fly ball, tagged up at third and then threw the ball to second. His first triple play!
