It was girl's night out and we headed to Mississippi Pizza for "Quizissippi" Trivia. We didn't come in dead last . . . but it was close. Regardless, we had a fun and plan on going again.

Les and Job took all three kids to the West Linn Old Fashion Fair - I think it was a first for the two dads and three kids. They all got along well and had fun on the rides.

When I told Kaitlyn that Carrie couldn't meet us for our usual Friday night dinner, she started crying. Of course I couldn't resist snapping the photo and emailing it to Carrie.
Breakfast - every morning at the kitchen counter. Cereal, waffles with peanut butter and orange juice. I know it's a bit boring, but I am definitely not a morning person either and it gets the day started.

The Deemers and the McIntoshes headed out to our house for a day of jet skiing out on the Willamette River. After some light morning rain, the day turned out very nice. Parker and Les made the trek out to the falls to take in the view.
Sean and Tobey came to spend the weekend at our house, while their parents attended a wedding. So I took all four of them to see Ice Age after dinner. Then it was home for slumber party out in the tent I pitched on the deck.
Kaitlyn was bathed in sunlight as we were filling up the tank.
For Parker's last day of camp, I took the afternoon off work so that I could watch his final scrimmage and see him get his certificate. I was impressed at how well Parker knew all the soccer rules considering he'd never played before. This will definitely go on the list for next year.
Day three of Parker's Timber's camp and he is just a bit sunburned. Special thanks goes out to Grandma who has been shuttling Parker from camp in the afternoons to daycare - and has even been bringing him a peanut butter sandwich in case he is hungry.
Day two of Timber's camp and Parker is ready to go. He had a great time yesterday and today we even remember sunscreen.
It's Parker's first day at Timber's soccer camp. We were one of the first families to arrive and Parker rushed right out to get started with his "warm-ups."
Parker told me there was a new hidden park near his daycare - and would you believe there was? We enjoyed a lovely afternoon romp through the splash park.
We met up the the Averett family and headed down to the park for a picnic and playtime. The four kids get along so well - it makes spending the whole afternoon together so easy.
One can never have too many barbecued hamburgers in one week, right? We had a staff cook out at lunch in honor of the Fourth. Jan did all the planning and arranging but then was too sick to come, so we snapped this photo to send to her to say we missed her.
To celebrate Uncle Mike's birthday, we had a picnic at Hammerle Park. Mike's good friends Matt and Carrie came with their two boys. The kids ran around the playground and splash area, while the grown-ups chatted and ate hamburgers. No birthday is complete without a Costco cake and a round of "Happy Birthday."
We headed over to the Deemer's house for Fourth of July this year. John BBQ'd us dinner and we all played on the trampoline. The kids had lots of fun with all the sparklers and small fireworks that Les bought. They used the sparklers to write their names in the pavement - I'd never seen that before. We had a nice view of some illegal fireworks being let off in the neighborhood and I figured out the settings on my camera catch a couple of nice shots.
Kaitlyn's hair "fell" out of her braids today at daycare. Not quite sure how that happened, but I forget how long her hair is getting until it's all loose.
Of course I had to go see this movie! After work a group of the ladies from the office (9 of us; the oldest was 64!) went down to the Living Room Theater off Burnside to enjoy a very entertaining evening.
