Day 352

I had a few too many vacation days accrued, so I took the day off work to get some work done on my scrapbooks (Yeah, I finished Parker's Year Three album!). I happened to glance out the window and was able to snap this picture. Someone forgot to tell this blue jay that birds are supposed to fly south for the winter.

Good job on Parkers book! This is a lovely shot. Stellars Jays are always around - no matter the season. I think of them like Raccoons of the bird world. They are nice to look at, but they are smart and crafty, and will steal whatever they think could be edible. They can even imitate other bird calls. There's a little fun fact of the day.
