A freak snowstorm caught Portland totally unprepared. It took us over four hours to get home (all of 14 miles). The kids were better than I could have expected - Thank God for the DVD player in the car. And thankfully, they had some left over items in their lunch. Even though we didn't get home until after 10, Parker and Les still had a chance to go and play in the snow. All Kaitlyn wanted to do was go to bed.

Talk about the evening commute from Haites. I love that the boys played in the snow. I managed to look at it from the couch once I got home - that's it. :)
